Welcome to Norca Rug Co, located in the heart of Levin / Taitoko, just 95km north of Wellington. With over 40 years of craftsmanship and expertise behind the Norca name, the business is proudly led by Richard & Heather, who are committed to preserving Norca’s legacy as both a specialist rug workshop and a boutique destination for curated rugs and textiles.

At the core of Norca Rug Co is our in-house finishing workshop, where we specialise in fine carpet edge finishing — including overlocking, taping, fabric binding, and fringing. We service clients throughout Taupō, Wellington, the Kāpiti Coast, Levin, Palmerston North, Feilding, and the wider Manawatū-Whanganui and Wairarapa regions.

Our work ranges from precisely finished residential mats to bespoke solutions for vehicles, Boats, and campervans, alongside expert rug repairs and tailored size alterations.

Complementing our workshop is our carefully curated interior offering. Our showroom features an extensive selection of authentically sourced imported rugs, chosen for their quality, texture, and enduring design, alongside custom-made, made-to-measure mats designed for everyday living spaces through to large-scale rooms, rental properties, and commercial environments. We are proud to offer one of the strongest curated rug collections outside of Auckland.

Our Levin showroom provides a relaxed, personalised experience — whether you’re commissioning a custom-finished rug, selecting from our curated ranges, or dropping off carpet offcuts.

For added convenience, we also offer a pickup and delivery service across the lower North Island.
